But this year, the changes are especially large-scale, which means that it’s not a sin to collect them all once again in one place.

The appearance of a new iPhone model in the line is always a holiday. Apple has long ceased to be afraid to expand the lineup, so today such decisions do not cause the former enthusiasm. However, it is always interesting to see what Cupertino has decided to offer us this time around.
This year, we are waiting for the company’s natural refusal of the compact iPhone in favor of a larger one. It will be the iPhone 14 Max, also known as the iPhone 14 Plus. The novelty will receive a 6.7-inch display like the top flagship, but from a hardware point of view, it will be a complete copy of the regular iPhone 14.

By changing the design of only older models, Apple, as it were, emphasizes its superiority over younger ones. Because earlier the differences between them, judging as a whole, were not so noticeable, and it was possible to distinguish them from each other only by the design of the cameras, which older iPhones always had more.
Now it was decided to mark the differences between the models more clearly. In this way, Cupertino hopes to reduce costs for the cost of junior models and at the same time start earning more from older models, which will attract more consumers, if only due to their appearance.

Another way to save money on younger new generation iPhones is to install an old processor. According to rumors, this year is the first time Apple will take such a step. It plans to equip the iPhone 14 and 14 Max (Plus) with the A15 Bionic chipset , which debuted last year with the iPhone 13.
As a result, when components became very expensive, they could no longer do this, and were forced to make a difficult choice: increase the price of the iPhone or make them technically simpler so as not to increase their own production costs. The company chose the first option.
Apple could not raise the price, because it risked losing because of this in sales of younger versions of the iPhone .
