Xiaomi To Release Mouse With Fingerprint Scanner
On the Xiaomi crowdfund site, a campaign was launched to raise funds for the production of the “clever” computer mouse Finger with a built-in fingerprint scanner. By leaning your finger against the sensor above the scroll wheel, users can encrypt files, log on to Internet banking and log on to sites.
Direct production of the device will be handled by another Chinese company – Beijing’s Ding Ding Innovation. The mouse will be released as part of the MIJIA program, which means that the new product will meet the Xiaomi quality standards.
Also, Finger will be equipped with a high-sensitivity optical sensor with a resolution of 1600 dpi. This feature provides accurate tracking and smooth movements of the mouse. Left and right mouse keys, say in Xiaomi, will withstand at least 5 million taps.
Pre-order can be left on Xiaomi website for 199 yuan, or about $ 31. Deliveries will begin on April 15.
Last year, Xiaomi earned “clean” $ 1 billion. In 2018, analysts believe, its profits could double. In addition, an initial public offering (IPO) is expected this year, following which the firm can be valued at $ 100 billion.
