But here and there the principle is the same. You pay a fixed amount, and in return, you get access to closed content. However, a subscription can be not only for a service, but also for services, for example, when one or another product is delivered to you once a week or a month, or to devices when you are allowed to use the equipment for a whole year with the ability to replace it with a new one or buy from the discount. But how beneficial is it?
Recently, a subscription to MacBook has been launched in Russia. In fact, this, of course, is not a subscription, but leasing with its own conventions and restrictions. I will not advertise a company that provides such a service and leave a link to it – if you wish, you can find it yourself. Instead, I’ll take a look at what a MacBook subscription is and why I’m not advising anyone to subscribe to it.
Leasing is the transfer of a device (in our case, a MacBook) for temporary use for a fixed monthly fee. The only problem is that when they get tired of it, they will be left without money and without a laptop. Because a subscription, or lease, is a temporary use, and the amount that you pay in 24 months, according to the terms of the contract, does not cover the cost of the laptop. See for yourself:

- However, there is also compulsory insurance for 19 thousand rubles;

The best way to buy a MacBook Air
It is 144 thousand that you will pay for the MacBook Air if you want to pick it up for yourself. It doesn’t matter at what moment you decide to do it – even on the 1st day, even on the 24th month. But, if you go and just buy a laptop in a store, then you will pay a maximum of 100 thousand rubles for it. For example, such a price today for a MacBook Air in the same configuration that can be purchased by subscription is offered by Svyaznoy on the Tmall site. That is, by buying a laptop right away, we save 44 thousand rubles.
I understand that not everyone can pay 100 thousand rubles for a laptop at once, and on Tmall, as a rule, there are no loans or installments. Yes, it is. But nothing prevents you from buying a MacBook from M.Video or Eldorado. There it costs a little more – 115 thousand rubles, but there it can be taken in installments without overpayment for 18 months. As a result, your monthly payment will be a little more than 6 thousand rubles.
And the benefit of buying a laptop immediately into ownership is that after all the payments, it will remain with you. After all, a subscription laptop will be taken away from you. And you can sell your MacBook Air. Yes, for 100 thousand they will definitely not buy it, but for 50 thousand they will tear it off with their hands. As a result, you will save up to half the cost of the new model from selling a laptop on the secondary market. And all this without the penalties for damage or misuse that are stipulated in the subscription agreement.
