4 reasons why iPhone is better than Android even under sanctions. It’s worth buying

0

If you ask someone you know if it’s worth buying an iPhone now, they will definitely answer you that it is better to refuse to spend money and wait until better times. But we always note in our articles that buying a new smartphone is extremely useful, the main thing is to make a choice so as not to change the awl for soap. The purchase should be approached based on your own convictions, but right now the iPhone is a tasty morsel for many, it is still better than Android smartphones no matter what. The more Apple restricts users, the more interesting it is. See why iPhone is definitely worth buying right now.

Payment in the App Store

Last week, Apple continued to “choke” users by disabling another fallback payment method in the App Store. Thus, paying for subscriptions and purchases has become even more difficult: however, the App Store is unlikely to repeat the fate of Google Play, where you can no longer pay for anything and even update paid applications. Yes, and there is no talk of disabling the applications that can be downloaded and updated without any problems.

In any case, at the moment, purchases in the App Store work, unlike Google Play – you can donate to the game, although not as easy as before. Apple can’t afford that, so you definitely won’t be left without music or TV shows and you won’t have to download them individually from a torrent.

How much is the iPhone now

One of the big news from last week was that iPhone prices have collapsed. The ruble has strengthened, and the demand for the iPhone has dropped significantly – now the iPhone 11 can be safely purchased for $660.12, and in some places, there are models for $597.25  – just a minute, a year ago the iPhone SE 2020 cost so much! Even the Pro versions have fallen in price: my friend recently sent me an offer for an iPhone 13 Pro 128 GB for $1,430.26. The same can be said about other models: the iPhone 12 in the minimum configuration has already fallen in price to $833.01.

If the ruble continues to strengthen, then the iPhone will continue to become cheaper, and parallel imports will allow stocks to be replenished on time. But for now, everything is good enough: feel free to buy an iPhone at an attractive price while you can.

  • iPhone 11 ;
  • iPhone 12 mini ;
  • iPhone 12.

What will happen tomorrow – no one knows, so do not put off the purchase indefinitely. Just like with studying at a driving school – it’s better to get a license now so that you don’t have to worry about it in the future.

iPhone app updates

A question that torments, probably, in general, everyone. There are myths everywhere that Tim Cook, by pressing a button in his office in Apple Park, can turn off the iPhone anywhere. Or the iPhone may stop working after the update. Brad, do you agree? The company could have done this a long time ago, stopped updating apps, or disabled the App Store for Russia, but it doesn’t do petty nasty things like Google, which banned even Chrome updates on Android smartphones.

The most striking example of a manufacturer abandoning users is Microsoft and its Windows Phone. But that situation was due to the fact that the operating system was too fresh, and the manufacturers’ plans were too ambitious. True, this did not lead to anything: the competition was lost, and smartphones were simply left without updates. Apple will not dare to take such a step, because it will lead to serious financial losses and reputational damage.

iPhone vs. Android

Whatever one may say, but iOS is still better protected from viruses and hacks, security problems do not bother users, there are fewer errors in the system, and update support is extremely long. Very soon, the 1st generation iPhone SE will receive iOS 15.5, and only next year the iPhone 7, which was released in 2016, will stop receiving iOS updates.

So, you will safely use the iPhone 13 Pro for at least another 4-5 years: I think that during this time many restrictions will come to naught, Apple Pay and payment in the App Store will return, but you will have an excellent device in your hands, and not a smartphone on The Android you bought in a hurry just to get rid of your iPhone. Only hurt yourself.

If you’re afraid that the iPhone will turn into a brick, just remember how useless the first iPhone was: it didn’t even have apps! but this did not interfere with using a smartphone. Now the situation is completely different, so you definitely shouldn’t be afraid to buy an iPhone even in the face of such unprecedented sanctions.
